Originally appointed to create a corporate identity for the governing body for London, Appetite recognised the diverse needs to reflect the organisation’s core values, create a sense of identity for London to Londoners and represent the city around the world. Our conclusion was that as London had to be at the heart of the GLA, the identity needed to reflect this and literally place London at its core. A detailed identity management system was then created, illustrating how London could be central to all of the city communications from the Mayor of London, through Olympic bids and Legacy policies.
